New Knives, and New to You Knives
I have a thing for Arturo Fuentes cigars. I like the Breva and Curly Head Deluxe. For Gas-Station cigars, I like a Black and Mild 'Sweet' Flavor.

Wolfgang, Ryan,
I did a little research a while ago on the Woodland Camo vs the newer, more tan/brown Woodland Style Camo:
.
Wolfgang, is that how the Woodland M81 looks after the brown dye? Like the newer woodland-style camo?

I am very happy with this knife. It is wearing a mirror polished edge, with a Norton F India micro-bevel. The knife easily passes Kyley Harris's (cKc Knives) bamboo skewer test, and it proves the "Rule of 15" I came up with: 15*DPS, 0.015" BTE, 15u edge finish, is the beginning of performance edge cutting for a pocket knife. Spyderco has been at the forefront of production

Millscale,
Also, I have found that a few passes on a strop with green compound help the Norton Fine India achieve more push-cutting ability than it usually has right off the stone. I am able to do most of the push-cutting things I like from a polished edge while retaining the excellent slicing aggression from the Norton Fine India stone.

Cal Bowie,
Yeah, CCC should have the parts in stock now. I am planning to upgrade my machine step by step, the motor and variable speed will be the last thing I do. I like mine for regrinds and relief grinds, I usually use my Tormek T4 for sharpening or just sharpen by hand. An excellent coarse oil stone from Norton is about as fast as the grinder I have found. The grinder does do an awesome

Product Review/Feedback
Millscale,
Yes, for the initial sharpening I usually do not use strop unless I am trying to get a push cutting edge that will split hairs. Even then, they are not necessary most of the time. I find that a few passes on a Spyderco UF or Dans Surgical Black Arkansas Stone will usually bring an edge back better than a strop. I just found it interesting that different steels responded differently

Nicotine patches are a good way to get a nicotine fix. Just don't fall asleep with them on, it will give you nightmares, no joke.

Alrighty, I have the torrent made. It is rather large at 65MB, but the download file is 10.5GB, so I guess that fits. DM me if you want the link to the torrent file so you can download it. It will take a few hours to download as I am currently the one and only seed.

Ok, I have one USB copy made, and it works. Takes a little while to copy, like a few hours. I am thinking of setting up a torrent so people can download it. It is 10.5GB.

Well, this is embarrassing. Turns out the Spyderco Siren wasn't sharp. After a quick stropping, it cut a lot better, just started to bind a bit, about 0.5" into the cardboard. Otherwise, it sliced straight through the tape and into the cardboard, so the performance of the sharp blade was a lot better than first reported.

FINALLY! Got it working! So I just need to wait now for the 1st of the month so I have the resources to send these out. Stamps.com is awesome, it is what I like to use. The wget command that finally worked is this

Well, I got it downloading the old forum website tonight, so hopefully it will be done in the morning. It is around 26GB if I remember correctly. Copies will be available to be mailed out as soon as the download finishes, so DM me your address and I will send you one. Everyone that already DM'd me no need to DM me again, I have you on the list of people to send one to.

Michael Christy and Ben Spallos told me about a thing called 'stropback' of a knife steel, or how easily and sharp a knife steel gets from stropping it back to sharp. I really prefer to do a full sharpening job if my knife gets dull, as it only takes a few minutes once the knife is shaped to cut off the old bevel and sharpen the knife again, but given that I did a 'show' edge

New Knives, and New to You Knives
I had an interesting thing happen to me today. A while ago, I had reground my Leatherman Surge Plain Blade with my HB 1x30 belt grinder. I was needing to open a package today, and instead of grabbing my trusty Spyderco Siren, I grabbed the LM Surge as it was easier to access, because the Siren was being carried in its normal spot, right side IWB. The LM Surge Plain Blade, because it had been r
