those pads definitely dull a knife fast. they are very abrasive.. so much so that im not sure what you could test well with them. i think they'd strip the apex off almost as well as a stone and leave you with a case of geometry cuts. perhaps high carbide stuff will fair better with them as they are more ragged and tear cutting. he is testing thin hard steels. perhaps he is tryingby cKc (Kyley Harris) - General

it would definitely be a performer if thinned out. im actually keeping mine fairly close to stock. i did thin it a little when cleaning it up.. but as a bait and fillet knife, that secondary edge can be good for removing the skin without being so lean it bites into the skin too easilyby cKc (Kyley Harris) - General

Peel ply g10 always gets me. its such a personal preference thing. it feels like sandpaper to me. i rubbed both sides down with some 800grit and its still pleny grippy but without the sharp teeth that come on peel ply and thats good for me. that traction will make it very hard to slip in the wet. i think the design is fantastic and look forward to putting it through its paces. when i get backby cKc (Kyley Harris) - General

I do agree that UK prob has the worst knife laws, Philippines laws are also worded in a similar fashion to NZ, except for some knives like balisong which need a permit Law Philippines QuotePhillipines Law Section 1. Jason you have misquoted badly. UK. Law is the same as nz law. It is completely legal to carry any non locking less than 3" knife for general use. It is illegal to carry ANY object with the premeditated intent to use against another human including self defense. victory knives catalog this is a catalog for a NZ knife company. more localized. similar to F Dick or victorinox. very good quality. Just for fun. this is not a channel that just tests practical use. it is most definately noss style in a way, but for folders. Entertainment value more than anything and a good look at the knife. at 7:50 he nearly chops his fingers off being a fool and switching from holding the knife with a gloved hand, to an unprotected hand so he can use the glove to hit the knife with a mallet. really stupby cKc (Kyley Harris) - New Knives, and New to You Knives

Voyager is popular, but not for me. i have particular tastes in how a knife looks and the handle shapes. demko ad20 this is clean enough in its lines that i could get behind it. unfortunately im not interested in D2. the k110 he is using is one i made a lot of knives out of.. and its a very good steel. but without a powergrinder to reprofile im just too lazy. haha.by cKc (Kyley Harris) - General

AICHI Website The simplest way to get a comparison is to look at all the charts on the page together to get a clearer picture. Aus8 and 10 have similar properties to 440c and 440b loosely, but with less corrosion resistance. they are going to be more like AEBL grade corrosion 10 can get a little bit harder. but the differences are so small i think most production makers are not going toby cKc (Kyley Harris) - General
