I know I had a post about this before on the other forum, but I wanted to make an update here. I am burnt out on knives, and am taking a break from them. I still plan to make my 'Kneck Knives', and hopefully will have a good supply of them in a few months, along with some YouTube video's about them and other things. Right now, I am focusing my daily activities to Locksport/Lockpby jasonstone20 - General

It seems in the sharpening community, pull through sharpeners and sharpening steels are somewhat hated. They do happen to be actual useful sharpening equipment, if, like anything, used correctly: Quotehttp://www.cliffstamp.com/knives/reviews/everyday_carbide.html Overall This sharpener was not expected to be significantly useful and in general these types of sharpeners are often pretty stronby jasonstone20 - General Sharpening

Yes, that is an awesome video of the old Herder factory. Roman Landes shared this with Cliff, and Cliff shared it with us. I haven't been able to find it however, thank you!by jasonstone20 - Video Reviews

Luis, That is a valid take on the YouTube situation. Like everything these days, there seems to be two main ways to look at what is going on.by jasonstone20 - Computers and Tech
Kyley, Yeah, that is the biggest problem I have is hand fatigue. I should have stronger hands since I have been lockpicking for the last few months regularly. I have to keep my hands strong because of the chronic injuries I have to my hands, if I let them get weak the worse my condition gets. Making feathersticks should also be a good exercise for my hands. I need to start practicing a littlby jasonstone20 - Video Reviews

Sorry guys, I didn't think about spreading misinformation. I haven't used those knives, and was hoping I was wrong, as they seemed nice.by jasonstone20 - New Knives, and New to You Knives
Kyley, Those knives all look very practical and also good users. I have a set of the Silverpoint Whustof paring knives: hawkbill, Wharncliffe, and spear point. Nice handles, heard the steel is junk.by jasonstone20 - New Knives, and New to You Knives
alkali, Quotealkali [ I am sure that I have at times made things needlessly complicated for myself while setting knives up by trying to do several things at once I used to do this all the time, it makes things very hard for no reason.by jasonstone20 - General
Ryan, Yeah. I actually wish we could discuss such things, as I think we would have a good discussion about it, but for some reason politics is just too touchy of a subject as it is very personal to a lot of people and they can take things to heart, and stuff can get nasty very quickly. I happen to agree with you about YouTube and the Rittenhouse case, but I guess that is why they have PM'by jasonstone20 - Computers and Tech
Kyley, Well they do have the one Fishermans/Fillet Knife:by jasonstone20 - General
Chris, The unsharpened blade thing is a good idea. I heard that a long time ago traditional knives came unsharpened from the factory, you were expected to put your own edge on knives. These are knives that were from hardware and general stores.by jasonstone20 - General

This isn't directed at you, Ryan, as I am guilty of this a lot myself, but I would like to try and avoid things getting political on this forum. We are bombarded with politics as it has permeated almost everything, it would be nice not to have to deal with it here. I was thinking it might be a good idea to have a news/current events section, but after thinking about it, I believe it wouldnby jasonstone20 - Computers and Tech
Ryan, Yeah, the establishment is favorable by Big Tech in general. Good thing there are alternatives now to use. I would stop using Google products altogether, but their suite of programs is hard to replace. This is coming from someone who is a huge FOSS(Free and Open Source Software) advocate. Christian Palmer guide on Raking Techniques: Quotehttps://elvencraft.com/lpd/Raking%20Techniques.html Applying appropriate turner torque is essential for effective raking. Use as little torque as possible to avoid seizing the pin stacks while allowing the pins to set, but use enough torque to compensate for plug friction and return springs. Some locks require virtually no torque...by jasonstone20 - EDC
