Of all the production knives I’ve used with high-carbide stainless, I think VG-10 has been the most pleasant to use. Not quite as slow to grind as S30V, but still shows some improvement over stuff like 1095, 420HC, or even AUS-8A when I finish them all on the DMT Fine plate.

I regularly use m390 and cruwear so I'm really looking forward to using the magnacut. I ordered 2 full sheets a few months ago and just got the blades (and scales) back from the machine shop. I love that it's basically a stainless version of 4v/cruwear. I'll be able to provide more feedback after I get some ground and tested /used.
