Some knife banter
January 04, 2022 03:36PM
Hi all, been on and off this forum and the previous one, but never stopped adding to my collection. Jason many thanks for keeping this place running. I've always enjoyed the banter here.

I recently picked up Dr. Larrin Thomas' excellent book Knife Engineering. As you all may know, he came up with Crucible's Magnacut steel and some knives can be found using it now. It validates the old saying "geometry cuts, steel determines how long".

My personal preference has been the bushcraft knife and most recently I picked up an AA Forge, Adventure Sworn, LT Wright, Grossman, Survive!, amongst others.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great New Year and stays healthy.

chiseen2000,
Your are welcome, even though I just sweep the floors around here. Kyley Harris (cKc Knives) did all the heavy lifting, both computer wise and financially on this forum, while Cliff Stamp did for the last forum.
