Very nice Older Spice! I am an equipment dork, what are you using again to produce this stuff?

So I have a lot of software, about as powerful of a computer I can get before heading into workstations that are priced liked cars(I use it for a lot more than just music and video stuff). Two hardware synths I'm using right now are the Elektron Digitone , a 4 op FM synth with probably one of the best sequencer designs on the market. As well as the Korg Wavestate 2. I have a a SP 404 MK2 on the way, a LinnStrument, the Machine mk3 which function as controllers for my software. My disposable income is set to increase a little this year, so I'm considering a nice flagship hardware synth but not sure what yet. Also need a new much larger audio interface for my PC. Also excited that metasynth may finally come to windows.

That last piece was made in a tracker/DAW called Renoise, using some drum samples, but also Dune 3, Massive X, Triple Cheese, and Pigments as the many synths. I used a few of the Kilohearts vst effects like the transient shaper , Other Desert Cities delay, and the rest was a handful of native effects in Renoise. The vast majority of the effects were internal to the synths, track channels were pretty bare all around. I mastered it in iZotope Pro RX, using Ozone. Visual stuff was done using Krita to make a painting, Astrofox to sequence effects based on the spectral analysis, passed into Cathodemer for the final effect. Then edited the video and sound in either blender, or Davinci Resolve. Have had a hard time finding a video editor I like, but I think Resolve might be the best option for me.

I ended up adding an Arturia Polybrute to the setup. Very nice, easy to patch, lots of depth, very playable, and integrates nicely into a studio setup.

Older Spice,
Nice! You might enjoy watching this:

Oh yeah, I've watched that and others on the topic before. I would say almost half of the music I've made has been in a tracker.

I reallly like trackers.
