Recently, I switched my EDC edge from a high polished one to a coarse one. TripleB posted
this on Instagram, showing the force used in a slicing motion vs a push cutting motion. I was sharpening today, and I was thinking about what is considered sharp and what is considered dull in EDC Pocket Knives seems to be rather subjective. Quantifying this might be useful in knife use, knife design, and knife sharpening.
